The audiovisual industry export award Hulda has been awarded to Dibidogs, a children's animation series that has achieved great success, especially in Asia.
The reasoning behind the selection was "relentless, open-minded, and determined work in building the success of the series". The series has already gathered over 50 million viewers.
The export prize awarded to Dibidogs was reported by Helsingin Sanomat on January 17, 2014.
Promentor Solutions Oy is implementing the DibiSchool language school for Chinese children using animated characters from the Dibidogs TV series. Alongside the Dibidogs animated series envisioned by Finnish children, the DibiSchool service is built with the goal of teaching English to children around the world. The service will be launched first in China and Finland.
