The piloting phase of the DibiSchool language school project is beginning, and the preschool and primary school children participating in the testing were provided with identical starting points for using digital materials.

Dibidogs Anu Guttorm TabletThe devices were handed over to Jalavapuisto and Suna schools and Jalavapuisto daycare center on Wednesday, April 2nd, at a handover ceremony held in Espoo. Primary school principal Reijo Tikkala and a group of preschoolers eagerly received the devices from DibiSchool CEO Anu Guttorm. The collaboration between primary school students and preschoolers within the project has been fantastic, and the children are already impatiently waiting to start using the devices and software! Testing will begin during April.

Anu Guttorm and Reijo TikkalaThe DibiSchool language school is created using animation characters from the Finnish children's TV series Dibidogs, and the goal of the service is to teach English to children around the world with the help of cute DibiSchool characters envisioned by Finnish children. Dibidogs has over 30 million viewers around the world, especially in China and other major Asian markets.

Children participating in the test groups get to try out the mobile application and provide feedback on it. Although the service is targeted at Asian markets, it is important to test the product in Finland as well. Based on the feedback provided by children and teachers, the product will be developed further.

Many thanks to the children and teachers of Jalavapuisto and Suna schools and Jalavapuisto daycare center for their great cooperation!
