Business Communication Language Courses for Educational Institutions
Promentor and Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences deepened their collaboration by signing a commercialization agreement for business communication language courses. In the online course series produced in cooperation, English, Swedish, and Russian are already in teaching use. The series will soon be completed with Chinese.
The courses in the business communication series are versatile and practical. They include the most common models of documents used in business life, such as quotes, orders, invitations, complaints, and inquiries, as well as other correspondence related to business travel, among other things. Edu Total – A Versatile Language Training Solution for Institutional Use
The Edu Total service enables language training for an entire educational institution equally, affordably, and efficiently. Edu Total is a tailored package for educational institutions that includes:
• all Promentor online courses, seven different languages and 46 courses
• concurrent users capacity approx. 10% of total student population
• a new tool, the content engine, with which teachers can create learning material directly for Promentor Web
• two proficiency level tests, Swedish and English
• two webinars per year
• new courses published during the agreement period
The benefit of the service for educational institutions is that teachers have a wide selection of materials from which they can assemble suitable modules and tasks, and with the content engine, they can also draft their own learning materials. The number of concurrent users is large enough to allow language learning for the entire staff if desired. The selection also includes rarer languages that can be studied independently. Interested?
